In this insane game we call Race to a Billion, I use the phrase "race-defining moment" on occasion. This could be the very definition of that. KP, let's take a look at your MYSTERY CHANCE!!

ImageImageImageImage
ImageImageImageImage

ImageImageImageImage

After eleven Round Cycles, you have amassed a grand cash total of £693,780,100. Mystery Chance offers a rare and unique chance to throw all of it away for something truly spectacular... or spectacularly bad.

Eight of those sixteen squares contain amounts of cash lower than your current cash total. In fact, the lowest square is just £82,798...

However. The other eight squares contain cash larger than your current cash total. The largest of those eight is a nigh-on winning £981,894,751...

If you decide to play, we throw away every last penny of your current total, and instead you will receive the amount from one of those sixteen squares of your choice, which becomes your new total.

This, of course, comes with a massive risk, but a potentially game-changing reward. But the decision is up to you...

KP. Would you like to take the Mystery Chance?

...the question I have to ask is "can I win from here?"

And I hate that the answer is "it's unlikely, but yes." Because it gives me an actual case both ways. If I needed to chase for sure, I'd take it on for sure.

But I have momentum. Like others in this SR, I got that Hidden Square from Chamber of Secrets, and mine is a good one. Between that and the fact I want as many people as possible in the mix at the end, NO DEAL to the mystery. Hypo 8.

It's turned down! We can all fully understand why, BUT. Let's roll the digits, let's see how you'd have fared...

It would actually have been the smallest profit you could've made! Let's see where the rest of them were...

  • 1: £728,199,096
    2: £874,944,272
    3: £981,894,751
    4: £65,874,664
    5: £737,586,179
    6: £814,006,530
    7: £21,831,175
    8: £708,009,322
    9: £604,810,402
    10: £911,315,855
    11: £783,298,930
    12: £293,201,359
    13: £356,142,263
    14: £532,823,366
    15: £82,798
    16: £178,358,433

3 was the glory, but #10 was also worth over £900m to you! 'Twas not to be, but let's see just how important that momentum is for you...

Indeed, though this could ALSO take you to the top of the pile, and possibly beyond... MEGAGRID!

In Round Cycle 11, that base amount is £20,000,000. What can you do to it, David? Let's have your first.

It would see you most of the way to 2nd place, but will you play or walk away?

You're already provisionally in second, how much further can you take this?

Image

... not so much with that one, but you're now over £50m - £50,198,400 in fact!

You're two big Boosters away from first place, but you're just one Bomb away from losing a chunk of momentum you've been riding on... Again, play or walk away?

Well you still hold onto your 37% Booster and at least one Hidden Square ready for the next cycle, let's see what you can do upon your return. Thanks so much for playing! :D

Talking of Swiftly, we’ll start with 22 and 15 as I’m definitely not bailing after one pick lol.

What did you come here for tonight, Will? That would take you to within about £2.5m of second place if you wanted to stop...

It failed me in Square 00, but let’s try Mally’s Law again with number 6.

Hoping not to fall foul of Mally's Law once again...

Doesn't! That lifts you up to £66,831,600 after three flips!

There's up to two flips to come, but of course you can stop now if you're happy with what you've managed to net there?

Well if ever there was a time and place to be making risks, this is the game to do it! We've had multiple nine-figure wins of this...

... and you could be one square away from the next...

Image

AND IT ABSOLUTELY BLOODY IS!!! Oh my god Will, that takes you up to £125,643,408!! :D :D

ImageImageImageImageImage
ImageImageImageImageImage
ImageImageImageImageImage
ImageImageImageImageImage
ImageImageImageImageImage

BUT. You can take a risk again and try one more... If you found even as low as a 20% Booster, you would be this race's new front runner, and anything beyond that drags that finish line ever close to you - but it's a substantial gamble... Will you take it on, or bank the money?
